Symptoms of Hepatitis A

How ill if there is a disease in our bodies. How ill, if you have Hepatitis A. Activity we would be distracted and uncomfortableActivity we would be distracted and uncomfortable. Hepatitis A is caused by a virus that is spread by feces / stool patient usually through food (fecal - oral), not through sexual activity or through blood. Hepatitis A is lighter than most other types of hepatitis (B and C). While hepatitis B and hepatitis C spread through the media of blood and sexual activity and more dangerous than Hepatitis A.

The virus disease is spread through feces or feces of patients who transmitted through contaminated food and beverages. Hepatitis A has an incubation period of two to six weeks since the transmission occurs, then the patient showed some symptoms.

In the first week, the patient will experience jaundice, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, vomiting, dizziness, and black-colored urine. Patients who experience symptoms of hepatitis A should not be too much activity and immediately to the nearest health care facility to get treatment for the symptoms.

Transmission of hepatitis A virus in fecal-oral means of fecal = anal, oral = mouth. So the way through the fecal-oral transmission is through the anus is also the mouth. A person with hepatitis A stool will contain viral hepatitis A, if the dirt is not in / scattered everywhere then it would be at risk spread everywhere, this is called the spread through fecal. While transmission through oral / mouth is to eat foods that contain viruses hepatitis A eat. Foods that most often contain viruses hepatitis A are shellfish, seafood, vegetables coming from a dirty environment or waste.

Maintain personal hygiene such as washing hands thoroughly; people close to the patient may require immunoglobulin therapy. Immunization with hepatitis A can be done in the form itself (Havrix) or a combination with hepatitis B vaccine (Twinrix). Hepatitis A immunization performed twice, namely primary and booster vaccinations performed 6-12 months later, while immunization with hepatitis B were performed three times, namely basic, one-month and 6 months later. Hepatitis A immunization is recommended for people who are potentially infected as a boarder and they are often eating snacks outside the home.

To avoid contracting this virus, prevention efforts can be done by washing hands thoroughly and immunization for someone to be around people. And do not forget, keep the food and beverage hygiene as well you eat. (ADO)

Treatment can be with paracetamol for fever and headache, vitamins to increase endurance and appetite, as well as drugs to reduce nausea and vomiting. However, it would have been better to prevent than cure.
